Grant-Funded Insight for Small Stations

WHAT IS IMPACT FOR ALL?

Impact for All is a grant-funded initiative that provides small and unique public radio and television stations with customized insight into their organization and an actionable plan for increased growth and local impact.

WHY DO IT?

We believe that all organizations, regardless of size, deserve access to the insights and solutions they need to strengthen their services and succeed in their local communities. Our philanthropic partners agree and we secured funding for 10 stations to participate in the initiative in 2021 and 2022.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE?

Impact for All is designed for smaller and unique public media organizations*. It's for stations that don't have the resources for a consultant but who want data, analysis, and guidance to help better understand the organization and identify areas for growth.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

Public Media Company has received generous support from the Rogers Family Foundation, Wyncote Foundation, and FJC – A Foundation of Philanthropic Funds to launch the Impact for All initiative. This means that participating stations pay just 25% of the true cost of the engagement.

* What is small? Small is defined as approximately the smallest third of CPB-qualified public media stations based on Non-Federal Financial Support (NFFS). For radio, this means station NFFS up to about $1 million a year and, for TV, approximately $3 million a year. These are rough guidelines. Please don’t hesitate to contact Steve Holmes if you don’t quite fit the criteria but would like to participate in the initiative.
